This is a part of a gesture watercolor group.

This group is defining form through shapes, color and gesture. The watercolor shapes the shadows, textures and other details.

This particular one was inspired by a dress I found from Carolina Herrera. She's classic, elegant and tailored. So I put my model within an egg shape. Because it's a white outfit, I chose to do negative/positive shapes to show the silhouette. It's painted in shades of gray, accented with bright red lips. She's sculptural and seems to hold the world in her hands.

The original artwork is 18" wide by 24" tall: Ready for you to frame and sent to you via a strong cardboard container.  You will love this framed by itself or as a group.
