About Joshua Wong

Joshua Wong is a storyteller who looks at life through the lens of both fashion and design. He combines his rich background in advertising, fashion design and illustration into one. 

Joshua's love for fashion illustration began in childhood. When he was only 4 years old, his parents noticed that he was drawing high-heeled shoes and cars. He later mastered these skills at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California.

Joshua is an award winning Advertising Art Director in New York City and Los Angeles. His work focused on telling visual stories through photo shoots and television commercials. He learned that every detail in a layout must tell a quick and compelling story.

From the advertising world on Madison Avenue, Joshua entered the fashion arena of Seventh Avenue. Inspired by the Upper East Side ladies hailing cabs in their 4-inch heels, he launched his career designing women’s footwear and handbags. Ralph Lauren hired Joshua to be his women’s footwear Collection designer. There, he was involved in the fast paced world of runway shows and beautiful super models. While traveling to Paris, Milan and London with the creative teams, Joshua was inspired to capture even more stories in fashion and design.

Awards:

All artwork is original and available for sale.  Size of each piece is approximately 18” x 24”. Frames are not included, and the artworks are unmounted.  Black and white illustrations are drawn with Japanese brush pens.  Color pieces are either in watercolor pens or watercolor, charcoal and gouache paint.
