Painting: Watercolor on Paper.

I was inspired by French designer Christian Lacroix's gown. There were velvet trims, shimmering bead work and layers of colored silk. So I gave her a simple center part blunt haircut to contrast the details in the dress. Her bosom is lifted up with the bustier top as your eyes are drawn down to the flowing fishtail hem. You can see and feel the texture of this gown. The light casts on her face and shoulders as her hands meet at the back. Drawn on watercolor paper.

The original artwork is 18" wide by 24" tall: Ready for you to frame and sent to you via a strong cardboard container.  You will love this framed by itself or as a group.
